Winning the Global Health Security category at AfyaFest 2026 was a defining moment, but the real transformation came from the masterclasses. We learned how to structure operations for scalability, build earned revenue models to move beyond grant dependency, and prioritise partnerships over doing everything ourselves. We gained practical strategies for user acquisition, regulatory navigation, and pharmaceutical supply chains. We refined our investment pitch and explored AI integration for our credit scoring model. These lessons have fundamentally shaped our approach. The $5,000 prize will help us execute these plans, but the real value lies in the knowledge we gained.
