Knowledge Base Partners & Mentors

What role do mentors play?

Mentors provide guidance, insight, feedback, and support while helping participants develop their own capabilities.

Mentors help participants learn from experience, avoid common mistakes, expand their networks, and gain perspective on opportunities and challenges.

Mentors are not expected to do the work for participants. Instead, they serve as guides, coaches, sounding boards, and sources of practical insight.

Depending on their expertise, mentors may support product development, entrepreneurship, research, professional development, commercialization, community engagement, or other pathway-specific activities.
