About
I am Alex Langat a Diploma in Public Health student iin Kenya Medical Training College,Kenya with a strong interest in digital health and community health innovation. I am developing LMICIS (Last Mile Immunization Coverage Information System), a digital platform designed to strengthen routine immunization services by helping health workers register children, track immunization records and vaccination schedules, identify children who miss scheduled vaccine appointments, send caregivers reminders before upcoming vaccination appointments, monitor vaccine stock levels, and support accurate immunization reporting.
My goal is to apply public health knowledge and technology to develop practical solutions that improve access to quality healthcare, strengthen immunization programmes, and contribute to healthier communities. I am continuously learning, collaborating, and refining LMICIS through the HIP Dev Challenge 2026 while building the skills needed to create sustainable digital health solutions.
