Mr. Tshidi Mmotong

Tshidi Mmotong is an aspiring AI and data professional, entrepreneur, and student at the University of the Western Cape (UWC). With a background in Computer Science and ongoing part-time studies in Data Analytics and Business Intelligence, Tshidi is passionate about leveraging technology, artificial intelligence, and data-driven innovation to develop practical solutions that address real-world challenges.

Beyond academics, Tshidi has been actively involved with the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI) and the Entrepreneurship Development in Higher Education (EDHE) as a studentpreneurs Community of Practice (CoP) representative for the University of the Western Cape (UWC). In this role, Tshidi has supported student entrepreneurs by identifying challenges, connecting them with opportunities, and promoting a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship that encourages sustainable, impact-driven ventures.

As an entrepreneur, Tshidi has explored opportunities in technology, digital innovation, and business development, with a growing interest in creating health focused solutions and products that improve accessibility, efficiency, and quality of care. By combining technical skills with an entrepreneurial mindset, Tshidi aims to develop innovative products that empower healthcare providers, enhance patient experiences, and contribute to stronger, more resilient health systems.
